New Referee In-Person Field Training

This is one of the required in-person field training sessions to become a new referee. Attendance is only required at one session. September 10, 2022 at 400 Main Street, Somers. The session starts promptly at 4pm so arrive early enough to get checked in, and will end at 6pm.

If you have the referee uniform, please wear it. If you have the referee kit, please bring your gear.  If yo don’t have the kit, please take the steps necessary to obtain one. There are thousands of new referees across the country all looking to get equipped before the season starts.

For 99% of all new referees, the yellow shirt is the first choice. Unless you live in a town where the team wears yellow. If so, contact local referees to see what color they wear. Also, you’ll probably also want to get a yellow shirt in case you work in another town.
