Hello, everyone seems to be getting a little anxious about the field training sessions. Normally, sessions are not posted until all are locked in. This prevents people from choosing one, then finding out there’s one they want more, and changing it. Since I can’t keep up with all the requests for information, we’re just posting them as they come up. Please note, however, once you register for a session, you may not be able to change if after. These are all based on space available. ONCE YOU PICK A SESSION, YOU ARE SET FOR THAT SESSION. If a better location comes along, or at the last minute the coach changes practice and there’s a conflict, we may not be able to help you find a new session.

You will also notice that although the day, time and city are listed it, they all say “Field_TBD”. That’s because if we post the venue, people will show up without registering and that’s not fair to you, or the instructors. A day or two before the actual event, everyone registered will receive an email with the field location. Ultimately, for example, if the event shows Newtown 3/28 at 830am, it doesn’t matter if it’s at Treadwell or the high school. Both are in Newtown.

We are also working on (but that are not locked in yet) Wilton, and New Haven, among others. 

You will notice on March 28 there are two references to events at Trinity Health Stadium. One is for the field session only. The second (with the 😊😊) is for CSRP Referee Night at Hartford Athletic. If you choose this option, you will get a separate email with a link to purchase tickets. This version will include a ticket to the game, a $7.00 food voucher, and parking. 

So there is no confusion, the field training is free whether or not you attend the game. The ticket purchase is optional. We open this up to all the referees in CSRP but figure since you’ll be at the stadium anyway, maybe you want to hang around for the game and meet some of your fellow referees. Last year we had over 100 people attend.
